GRP was founded by the current director & owner Dave Taylor who has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry.

The company’s aim is to provide a one stop shop for clients by accepting projects up to the value of £500k with specialist interest in the equine/racing industry as well as the social housing sector. Health & Safety first is our ethos and this is overseen by Tom Lightowler who is a director of the company and is NEBOSH Diploma Qualified. Tom also acts as estimator and contracts director to give an end to end personal and friendly service.

The company is based in Northallerton and is well located to work throughout the county of North Yorkshire while offering a concise service by being able to start and finish a contract with our own qualified personnel and modern equipment without having to rely on third party contractors. At GRP we pride ourselves on our work and our continued, long standing client relationships.

Some of our notable projects have been the refurbishment of the Old Stables at Lowther Castle into Tea Rooms & Offices, the demolition of the Old Lifeboat Station in Whitby, the refurbishment & construction of Stables at Wetherby, Catterick & Thirsk Racecourses, various housing refurbishment & landscaping projects for Broadacres, Home Group & Livin Housing Associations, working with Hambleton & Harrogate Councils on various projects as well as providing continuous maintenance services to numerous private country estates throughout North Yorkshire.
